For seven years Same Sky Studios on Boston's south shore was a hotbed of creativity for the most discerning ears and players. Over the years every style and genre of music has been recorded, arranged, produced and developed. Every project was given the sonic and artistic attention needed to create a timeless recording. Whether it was a singer-songwriter in need of a full band, a band with great material that needed direction, or a singer who had the voice but needed the right song to break through, Same Sky delivered a lasting impression of that artist's unique talent; setting them apart and fulfilling their vision.

In Feb of 2009 Producer David Messier moved Same Sky Productions to Austin Texas for its rich musical tradition, diversity and substance; in search of artists to collaborate on the next truly great recording.

Originally from Boston, David Messier has been been performing and producing music for 15 years. As a songwriter David’s work has been used in commercials, television, sporting events, media presentations, and has received air play on satellite, internet and terrestrial radio.
As a performer David has been recorded on national and international releases as a drummer, percussionist, guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist.

As an engineer David began young learning on the 2” 24 track machine at New England’s famous Celebration Sounds studio at the age of 15. Furthering his education in audio and video editing at New York’s Fordham University, David then returned to Boston and opened Same Sky Productions, a commercial recording studio on Boston’s south shore. For nearly 10 years Same Sky provided premium services for artists, producers, record and media companies.

As a producer, David is involved in every aspect of the artists’ development and recording from writing to arrangement, performance to sound and aesthetic.

I play guitar, bass, and have been a singer/songwriter in punk, indie, jam, and pop bands in Boston for 16 years and studied engineering at Bristol Studios.

The works of great producers like Phil Spector, Brian Eno and Steve Albini inspire me to push our clients and ourselves to always make meaningful music. I came to Same Sky for its reputation for always finding creative ways to get the most out of an artist. At Same Sky I found a crazy, creative environment to do just that.
